Introduced in 1900 the Brownie camera is perhaps the most well known of the Kodak cameras. Once the film was finished, the customer would mail the camera back to the company. The 'Kodak' trademark was registered on September 4, 1888, and the Eastman Kodak Company was founded in 1892. all catches and buttons move as they shouls and it opens. The sharp edged boxes were changed to curved in 1917, and the foot shape changed from an S-shape to a C-curve in 1919. The Kodak "brownie" camera is interesting from a photographic history point of view and slightly sought after but there are lots of them around because kodak literally sold millions of them so collectors are only after the pristine ones.
